Because group play is such an important part of Doggie Daycare, our staff conducts pre-admission screenings to make certain potential attendees are neither extremely timid nor very aggressive. Specially designed play groups for large and small dogs ensure the experience is beneficial to puppies and older pets alike.  

Daycare Policy and FeesTo ensure the safety and health of your dog and our other guests, we've established the following guidelines.

Age:  Dogs must be at least 3 months old.
Sex:  Females over six months must be spayed.  Unaltered males are allowed on an individual basis.
Vaccinations:  Owners must submit proof that their dog is current for Rabies, Distemper, Parvo virus and Bordetella vaccinations.  We accept vaccine titers for Distemper and Parvo in lieu of vaccines for dog 3 years old or older.
Intestinal Parasites: We require a fecal exam that includes Giardia testing to be performed by Sumner Veterinary Hospital prior to admittance and every February and August.   
Health:  All dogs must be free of any condition that could jeopardize other guests. Owners must certify that their dog is in good health and has not been ill during the past 30 days. Dogs that have been ill will need a veterinarian certification to be admitted.
Flea Free: We are a flea-free facility. If a pet is found to have fleas or flea dirt, the pet will be treated at the owner’s expense. 
Behavior:  Dogs must be friendly and willing to share food and toys. Owners must certify that their dog has not harmed nor been aggressive toward people or other dogs.
Application:  Dogs must have a complete, up-to-date application on file.  We charge a $20.00 one-time screening application fee. If your dog is boarding with us and we perform the daycare screening during the stay, the fee will be reduced to $10.00.

Fees Canine Activity Program M-F: Fees are per dog per day for whole days only.  We do have 5-day, 10-day and 20-day pre-paid passes available.

Fees Weekend Canine Acticity Program: We will offer a scaled back version of our weekly program to include indoor group play, chew time and leash walks. Fees are per dog per day for whole or half days (<4 hours) and can be purchased as single days only. No passes are available at this time.

Reservations: Because we need to plan the best possible play group for your pet, reservations are required. Reservations can be made daily or weekly and of course we are always happy to fit your dog in if you forget.
Risks: There are inherent risks of injuries when dogs play together. Our staff does everything they can to prevent such incidents. Full financial responsibility for any and all expenses resulting from an injury rests on the owner of the injured dog.
